About

She completed her psychology undergraduate education at Bilkent University as an honor student. In addition to her various internships during her undergraduate education, she worked as a research assistant at Bilkent University Social Psychology Laboratory and Bilkent University Developmental Psychology Laboratory. In her undergraduate thesis, she researched the relationship between romantic relationship satisfaction and sleep duration in individuals aged 18–25. She then completed her master's degree in Clinical Psychology at Utrecht University in the Netherlands. She has specialized training that adopts the scientist-practitioner model and has an evidence-based approach. During her master's degree, she trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, specializing in trauma, bereavement, depression, and anxiety disorders. In her master's thesis, she examined complicated grief symptoms after job loss through a cross-cultural study. She participated in various training and conferences during her graduate years. She received Schema Therapy training approved by the International Schema Therapy Association (ISST) from Prof. Dr. Gonca Soygüt Pekak. She adopts these two approaches in her psychotherapy process with adults. She highly values the therapeutic environment and relationship as a safe space. She continues her sessions online. She works as a volunteer psychologist at Ankara Women's Counseling Center. She can give therapy in Turkish and English.
